About Us
A J Fortescue & Son Ltd is a builders and contractors based in Brabourne near Ashford in Kent. We have been established since 1919 when Alfred J Fortescue first started building in the Brabourne and Smeeth area having served during the First World War. His son Gordon then joined the business in the 1950’s and took the firm over from his father, and it is now run by Gordon’s son Andrew and his son Alex, the 3rd & 4th generations!
Most of our work is obtained by personal recommendations and word of mouth; we have a large base of regular clients with whom we work on a variety of different jobs.
We cover all aspects of domestic building including:
